My wife and I used to own a pair of ML Request speakers when we lived in California. Drove them with an Adcom GFP 565 and two GFA 545s in bridged mono mode (200 wpc). Our current living room system is a pair of DCM Time Frame 7 speakers driven by a Yamaha CR1020 receiver. Sounds okay, but my wife is sick of the rat's nest of wires behind the AV cabinet. A couple of days ago we bought a wall mount for our television and ordered a Martin Logan sound bar. We also listened to a pair of Ethos speakers in the showroom, and now my wife wants to get those. (Did I mention how much I love my wife?) That is going to take two or three years as we'll have to build a new house to provide the Ethos speakers a proper environment.
