Swedish Jazz

Hola. I am a fan of the great recordings made in Sweden. Here is Jan Johansson playing for us.

Excellent Roberto... Thanks to you I am checking out Jan Johansson With George Riedel in Hamburg....really beautiful energetic jazz playing, well recorded if a rather strange stereo spread.

I presume you know Esbjorn Svensson and Seven Days of Falling...? Great bass riff and ensemble playing.

I use Qobuz streaming service @ CD quality... Better classical and Jazz selection than Tidal for me, but I guess French streamer Qobuz not available in USA.

Keep the sharing,
Bruce

Thanks Bruce, but I am located in Costa Rica, Central America, between Panama and Nicaragua. Its very difficult to find good things here...Qoubuz is not available here, but youtube it is! Thanks again! Happy listening.

What about some great latin jazz: Carl Tjader with Poncho Sanchez and Clare Fisher...great musicians, smooth jamm, and also Milt Jackson the next half part.

Hope you like it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iiEBUJtWB5M

Listen to Poncho Sanchez band playing Besame Mama>

Hey I shall certainly follow these up! I nearly posted a Latin-ish recommendation but didn't want to divert your thread!! But now you mention it.

Try Paolo Fresu and his Cd Desertico also his work with Omar Sosa great Cuban musician. I saw one of the best concerts I have ever seen with Fresu/ Omar Sosa and Trilok Gurtu percussion maestro, in Ednburgh. Rhythmically and harmonically fantastic..... sadly they have never recorded.... Ah well!

Hope you can check these out where you are.... Way out.

But maybe where I am is way out to you!!
