Just joined the forum recently as I assemble my new ML system.

Two Balanced Force 210's arrived today and it appears that one is DOA.

While the 1st one turns on (no signal connections yet) with leds on, the 2nd one shows no evidence of life.

Before I pack up this beast and return to the dealer, I want to be sure there isn't a hidden on/off switch or fuse that was overlooked.

Any ideas? Very frustrating start ...

Thanks,
Herb...

First question is did you call ML service(785 749 0133)? Dana and staff will do their best to diagnose over the phone. As to failures out of the box, we do a 100% QC on products like this, first for sub assemblies and then the completed unit so it left ML working. All manufactures do their best as it is costly for all parties to get the situation resolved after the fact. Your dealer will be a help here.

I was looking for the obvious ... an on/off switch, fuse holder, etc ... I just got the unit yesterday.

Someone from Martin Logan has already emailed me in response to my email.

They are working on shipping another unit to my dealer asap so that I can swap them out and return the defective unit to the factory.

This is a very strange event ... but I understand these things can happen.

Thanks,
Herb...
