meridian 559 amp with ML vista

Hi All

I am a ML newbie but so pleased with my recent purchase. I am therefore currently looking now for an amp on the used market in the 1K GBP department. I have had some great suggestions around the lower end Krell (on another site) but also wondered if anyone has tried an meridian 559 power amp with ML Vista (or with any ML for that matter?).

I do have the opportunity to buy the meridian but weighing up options and looking for other suggestions.

FWIW I'm pleased as punch with my Krell and Vistas.

Is that Krell amp a five channel amp? I think Krell makes a fine product and used to have the reputation as one do the top dogs. If you can audition the Meridian in your own system, that would be the best way to determine if it sounds better.

Thanks for the responses.

I have someone brining their Krell 400xi tomorrow for an audition so ill see how it goes. I currently have a niam xs and teddy pardo PSU although trying the recommendations of other ML users.
