I used to use a combo of a Pioneer M90 and SL3s... worked well together... the M90 has TONS of power... and has a setting for low (4ohm) loads... which is what I used... worked like a charm... later switched to a Denon A10SE which had almost as much power, more connectivity, and surround abilities... not a huge difference... though i felt like there was slightly more presence and warmth with the M90.
