Hello Forum,

I recently troubleshooted a problem with an ML Clarity. I identified the problem being the audio transformer and replaced it (this is detailed in my "new forum member" post). This may be in my head but the speaker with the brand new audio transformer sounds a bit brighter. Is it possible that the audio transformer degrades overtime and causes a loss in performance. I plan to swap the bases that house the transformer to see if the perceived better performance follows the new transformer. If it does I would be willing to pay another $100 to breath some new life into the other speaker. I am interested to get the forums feedback on this.
