Doing some research, The one I heard was the old a3, but it is the later generation, with the suffix PX (A1 px, A2 px) etc that are said to be much better. The bigger they are the lower they go and easier to drive. The size should not coz any difference to front and back distance from the wall, smaller ones will be easier to place if you are sideways constrained.
Better to upgrade them with the torroid II option that costs 2500, and increases sensitivity by 2db and makes it sound fuller. Also better to use the hot rod option which means replacing some of the components by those recommended by the designer Roger west.
The millennium and the AxPX generation are almost identical
There is one a1 px in Portugal at 3000 euros, with one panel that needs a mylar repair. If anyone in the US buys it they can fix it cheap and have the latest biggest soundlabs.
