Glad to fulfill the requirement of introducing myself as a new member of the Martin Logan Owners forum. As a lifelong music lover and record collector, having a good stereo system has always been an active pursuit of mine. I've been enjoying SL3s since April of 1996 - a present from my wife - and am currently considering new panels for them. Came here to learn about maintaining their high level of performance and how to enhance my listening experience and pleasure. Thank you for having me and, no, I don't own any John Denver music.

For the cost of new SL3 panels, you may wish to investigate buying the ESL's or a used model of ML's more current offerings.

I had the SL3 many years ago. It was quite good at the time but it's a bit long in the tooth from a technological perspective.
