Fantastic system with top of the range CEC TLO belt drive CD player going into Kondo dac that cost 35k in 2000. CJ Premier 8 monos, and Kondo pre. Excellent room
Very quiet system, low noise floor, very well put together. Ticked all the boxes, Apogees do a lot. Yet, for me, that midrange magic is missing though this was pretty good. The positive standout was on orchestral music, the violins leapt out. The guy owned Soundlab A1s before and he prefers these.
