Good morning, everyone. I'm a somewhat devoted reader to a little known, sort of irregular Canadian audio publication called UHF Magazine. Included in the last issue (#94) are two articles that are at least worth reading, one of which is an in depth look at Surround Sound Receivers and the Decoding chips they use, relative to their price point; this on will prove useful to those looking to purchase a receiver. The other is an article on the origin of the Compact Disk, and the technology behind it. I especially enjoyed this one. Here is the link to the magazine website, where the issue can be viewed.
