in the Monolith III models... How many transformers does each speaker have, excluding the one to the diaphragm (meaning just for the stators)?

IIRC it has only one audio step-up transformer. The diaphragm energizer board will also have a small transformer.
In this Post you can see a pic of the inside of a Monolith III but it does not show all the boards, just part of the step-up board.
Why do you ask? Looking to upgrade or to repair?
