have been a cls II owner for about 20 years.
simply, nothing else would do.
have always been trying to learn more about the audio world.
over the years, have been mystified by the controversies and cults that have prevailed. cables ? spikes ? marking pens ?

not having golden ears, was satisfied to run the cls's with mid fi adcom high current monoblocks.

put that all into storage and moved to europe about 10 years ago.
while there was able to eventually set up and was very pleased with the ml purity model, built in mid fi switching amps.
which provided a small taste of the essential ml sound, in a smaller room.

now back in the usa and trying to resurrect the cls experience.
- have run into problems and realize that a full rethink is needed.
can't simply go back to the old gear without age related problems.

much homework is called for.

looking forwards to learning from the collective knowledge of this fine online resource.
and all the other forums, yet for me to discover as well.

Welcome aboard Daniel,

I hope you really bundled up the CLSs to keep the humidity away. Adcom gear is great. I have an amp myself. There is always room for upgrading. However, if your speakers have been stored properly, they should give you the same level of sound qulaity as 10 yeasrs ago.

Can you let us know what problems you have encountered?
