Hi All MLO member,
I'm Francis from tropical country..
I just started to owned ML after my big brother gave me his old stuff (unused from many years in his garage) 3 weeks ago.
He gave me 1st generation Aerius made in 92.
This is my first time have an ESL as I have owned several cone speaker before.
The appearance is very cool, but my bro tell me it is a difficult speaker to owned and maintained especially in tropic country like mine.
Unlucky for me, the Aerius is not working properly with low sound on both panel.
I try to vacuum and dismantle the panel then wash it but only recover in small margin.
Just call ML looking for help, but looks like need to replace the panel with new one.
Still waiting their quote and hope not expensive other wise I may look to purchase 2nd hand panel with mint condition or NOS from MLO member (if any) or purchase the repair kit from Rob in Aussie (forgot his shop name).
Wish me luck to repair it as I can't wait to hear the HEAVEN SOUND from ESL speaker!
Cheers guys!
