High pitch noise from Summit

Hi Everyone,
Since a few days, I hear a high pitch noise coming out of my left Summit speaker, even when it is switched off. The noise is not coming out of the panel, but out of the box. It is a few kHz and when I pull out the power cord, the frequency drops down a bit while the sound disappears.
Ideas anyone?

I would call ml after vacuuming your panels.

Sounds to me like the power supply for the woofer amp in that speaker has a problem. Next step is call MartinLogan service.

If it is the amp or its power supply, they can generally ship you the part and you (or your dealer) can swap it out, it's not to hard if you are handy.
