I am still playing with the position of the Depth but I think it is more the room it is in more then anything. The vistas setup a really nice stage but the image is defiantly favored more on my right because of the open floor plan to the left.
Any suggestions on positioning I used the flashlight trick for toe in and found I had to lift the front due to the height of the screen. But still not sure what to do to even out the Right.

Welcome! Two big things: Sound treatments and front wall positioning. Hard to tell, but I'd highly recommend pulling them out 4ft or so from the front wall and look into some sound treatments like bass traps and a few absorbers on the front wall. Will make a huge difference and may allow you more liberties in terms of overall room placement. Enjoy! :)

Any suggestions on going with a receiver or a pre/pro and amp? I have been looking at the Cambridge Audio Azur 551R 7.1 AV Receiver or a Marantz AV7005 but unsure of what amp to go with. Looking to stay under 2000.00 a unit.

Welcome and congrats on your new ml setup. I recently purchased a similar setup with the grotto I instead of the depth. I have been blown away by the sound as I'm sure you're well aware. Initially I was running a Marantz 8001 receiver and was very happy with the results. I bought an Anthem 225 to replace the Marantz because it needed to go back to the home theater and wanted something for the ml two channel. Compared to the Marantz the anthem is better in every way, not that the Marantz was bad at all. I have no experience with the cambridge unit but have heard good things.

I also bought the Meridian Explorer which does sound superior to the wolfson dac but I use the Meridian for my Mobile HIFI w/ Samsung Galaxy 4 so i just use the Wolfson for home now.
I leave the Vista's a foot off the wall but have placement setup 4 feet out for some well staged music listening when I can.

Welcome... Plenty of people here can help with acoustic issues better than I can - however you may like to try some absorbers at the first reflection point of the right speaker.

If you haven't already done so, I suggest that you post this in the Members' Systems section.
