Hi,
We recently purchased $2500 worth of in ceiling speakers (Helos 100) and now have to move. We want to take our speakers with us, but obviously need to cover the 11 inch diameter cutouts in the ceiling. (Prospective buyers will be told the grills are cutouts for speakers that they would have to purchase themselves if desired.) ML does sell grille covers, but we are wondering if anyone has any experience with how you would get these to stay in the ceiling without being attached to actual speakers.

I would expect the cost of repairing the holes would come close (maybe even exceed) the price of the speakers (for drywall, texture, paint, labor). I would just leave the speakers in place, and add some $$ to the asking price for selling your home. You'll likely need a different speaker configuration anyways in your new residence, so you can (re) purchase what you need then.
