Hi all,

Here's the official scoop from ML regarding the Vantage:

Greetings-

Attached you will find a press release that details MartinLogan's new Vantage ultimate performance electrostatic speaker ($4,995/pair US retail). Based on the astounding success of MartinLogan's recent Summit loudspeaker ($9,995/pair US retail), the Summit inspired Vantage is anticipated to be a hugely successful product for MartinLogan.

I have also attached high resolution images of the new Vantage.

Looks nice. I particularly like the way that the grid extends down over the woofer assembly. It tends to unify the appearance. The new box design has been growing on me, particularly after I saw some Summits in-person.

woofers

It seems that ML has given up aluminium cone woofers.
Does anybody knows why? It was a great improvement on bass speed and helped it to match with the fast ESL element.

That's a damn good looking speaker. And "FINALLY" some decent photos from ML.

Oops, sorry, I've been mistaken by the black color of the woofers.
So it's black aluminium cone woofers, new model, isn't it?

I think the shadow from the black grill may be playing tricks on your eyes. If you notice, the Dust Cap part of the woofer is still darker than the actual cone; which is my reason to believe it's still the same silver we are familiar with.
