Awesome and brings back memories! I drove that road all the way from the top to bottom back in 1996 while on tour with a band...we stopped many many times and I still have tons of pictures, must be amazing on the bike!

In 2005, a friend and I took a ride from the D.C. area to CA and back to D.C.. Here are a few pics I took along the Pacific Coast Hiway, which I rode alone, also. My friend went up to Fresno from Barstow and I hit hiway 1 near San Louis Obispo and took it up to Monterey and then went over to Fresno to hook back up with my friend. The coastal hiway remains one of my best rides ever! I was very lucky, that in the state with the most population, I rode up the scenic coastal hiway with few cars in sight! I just couldn't believe that traffic was so light that day.
