Hello,

I need some thoughts about two subwoofers. These will mate with my son-in-law's CLS and he wants to get these used. Descents and JL 112/113 are too expensive.

What are your thoughts. Two channel music only.

Both are excellent and this choice could easily be a coin flip. I did listen to the Fathom a ways back and I was very impressed. Having said that, the Depth is no slouch either.

I haven't listened to an ML sub yet, but JL Audio definitely makes very nice subs! I have JL113 which I see are listed between $1800-$2200 used on audiogon. I am sure for a smaller room, a 10" version would be just as nice.
 
hi

i did listen and compare jl and martin logan around 7 times , its a nice sub for music or 2.1 stereo , if u won't use it as ht ,then jl was fine.
