The Stage is concave, and the Motif is convex. Is there any difference between the two in dispersion or off-axis integrity, or even listening distance (e.g. the concave design creating a null at some distance in front of the Stage)?

I know that with the Cinema and Theater, there was a review that said the Theater's convex design was better than the Cinema's convex.

Don't know about integrity but for certain the dispersion is effected:- a convex driver (like all other ML floorstanders) gives you an even 30 degree dispersion from the origin which is virtually behind the speaker- whereas the concave first has to focus in front of the speaker then spread out at 30 degrees - so you lose about 1.7 metres of linear dispersion (in the case of Stage versus Theatre).

Hope this helps!

PS - obvious point - if your theater (or rather sitting distance) is enormous this is no problem at all... if it's shorter then the difference could be significant for off-axis listeners
