I want to replace the internal fuses in my CLS IIz's with audiophile equivalents. I spoke to a guy at ML and all he could tell me was that each fuse must be 250V, 1 quarter watts BUSS type. What's the amps of each fuse though?

Fuses are not rated in watts. That may be a 1/4 amp fuse that you need, but you need to find out if it a slow-blow or fast-blow.

Avoid using wire or copper strips tweaks. Unless you really know what you are doing. You won't have the protection that a fuse offers.

HOla Dan,...Bernard is correct...it is 250mA type 3AG. Happy listening,
Roberto.
