Ken, what are you replacing them with? CLX?
Dave, don't be surprised if the Medusa sounds snakey till break-in.
Todd (tsv_1) initially used a pair of PrimaLuna monoblocks to drive his CLXes, and found them lacking in power.
Matt, since you have to fly blind, I suggest you google the units and read the reviews.
You may get first-hand experience from the guys at Audio Aficionado on the Macs. Lots of Mac enthusiasts...
If you don't have to sell the MF to get money for the Krell, you could always use it as a preamp for now.
LONG LIVE THE DUDE!
Gordon, you'll have to stick around to respond to comments on this thread, if nothing else :)

Hey, hardeng, I'm very close to you....in Kanata.
Yup, that's what I meant.

Of course...........
You guys missed the emoticon at the end of my last comment.
One other thing to consider: I have seen windows with shutters between the two panes of glass. I imagine that would help a bit with...
You could always move :p
10 to 15 dynamic intervals between p and pp? I'd like to hear a pianist try to do that!
On the other point, aside from the fact that RJR was playing silly bugger, maybe that's how double blind...
Tim, those are components that wet dreams are made of; or, to quote you, they give you an "Audio Woody"! :)
This is contrary to the philosophy that Linn used to push that if you have limited funds you should get the best source possible and compromise on the rest. Remember the "Garbage In / Garbage Out"...
That must be one amazing-sounding system!
Yes, a really beautiful view. Is there any chance that you can rearrange the furniture? It looks like you have lots of furniture between the listening position and the speakers.
You should put...
Hey Marc,
An update of your system page is long overdue!
I thought that coiling was not advisable as it makes the music go snakey!
Seriously, though, I always thought that you had to lay out the extra length going side to side (hard to describe).
