Scenarios vs. Mosaics

Ever since I first saw a picture of the Scenarios I've wanted a pair. Originally it was for the look, but then I heard all the great things people were saying about them, learned more about electrostatic speakers, and have had a chance to listen to various ML models (Aeuris i, Aeon, Clarity) though have never come across Scenarios in person. I'm finally in a position where I can afford a pair, but now I'm facing a dilemma.

I'm wondering if in fact now the Mosaics may be a better speaker for me, for a few reasons:

- the off-axis response is a bit of a concern to me. I most recently listened to the Claritys and the affect was dramatic, and am worried this may be even more pronounced in the Scenarios. Would the Mosaics be better for this?
- I'm also concerned if my receiver (an Integra model 6.1) would be fullly up to the job of driving the Scenarios. It seems like with the Mosaics this would not be an issue.
- Room acoustics: my listening room is far from ideal acoustically, its not very big, has 2 big windows, and hardwood floor. Which of the Mosaics or the Scenarios is likely to be more forgiving?

The other side of the coin though is:
- The Mosaics, while attractive, just don't have the wow factor when it comes to look as the Scenarios or any other electrostatic
- there seems to be something a little wrong with buying a pair of MLs that aren't electrostatic. It just seems a bit like if you were to buy a front-wheel drive Porche. I'm sure if Porche made such a car, it would be good, but that's just not what they're known for.

Unfortunately it is very unlikely that I'll get to listen to either speaker before buying, so I can only go by the models I've heard to far and the wonderful advice I read from people on this site. So any further information people could offer to help me reach a decision would be greatly appreciated.

-Tim
