Thanks for the response. Pretty much what I expected/hoped to hear. My "lamp cord" wires are routed together with only other audio cables (ie not power cords). I indend on upgrading, but maybe not all the way into the couple-of-hundred-dollar category. Placement in the box is purely temporary as the ML setup is going into a different room which is under construction. I have on order a Sunfire Ultimate Receiver with 200 wpc. Hey, the delivery guy just dropped this thing off at the house, so why not plug it in to what's available.
