Congratulations John on your recent Odyssey purchase. The harshness should go away over time. With my Aerius i's I notice some harshness from time to time, but its mostly source dependant. Well recorded CD's sound absolutely stunning, while fair and poor recorded ones sound terrible(very harsh). Electrostats are very revealing, showing any flaw in equipment, and recording's. I now only do critical listening with good quality recordings. I also find myself still tweaking my system.
Regarding the ML Theater center channel, I haven't listened to it yet(I have the Cinema). The Cinema is a great center speaker, but doesn't fill my listening room quite enough. So im thinking about getting the Theater, as it has a larger ESL panel and 3 tweeters. For small to medium sized rooms, I think the Cinema would be perfect.
