Reading the thread "Amp/pre advice...words of wisdom" below reminded me of a suggestions I've been meaning to bring up. This would help out people who are trying to figure out what to purchase by seeing what other people are using.
Would it be possible to have a search type feature in the "Member System" so that I could see what components are listed? Like if I wanted to see all the Amps used by all the members, I could click on a "Amp" link and it would list all the amp brand/models with the corresponding system No.
Or, even easier to create, have a link that opens to a table with component types ("CD player", "Amp", "Pre", "spk"...) in the column header (with the 1st column named "system number-User name") and then with all the data filled in.
If these ideas can be put into use, it would make it easier to see what we are looking for rather than clicking each thumb picture and hoping we see what we're looking for. It would also make it easier to know what system belongs to the person posting a message.
If something like this can't be done, no swet! This site is still awesome!!
