A 'true ribbon' isn't push/pull. It's a freee swinging ribbon and also needs a transformer on the back to raise the Imp. The planars in the new Logans aren't anything like a true ribbon (other than being able to move almost as fast)..
These new Logans use the B-G Neo 8 and Neo 3 planars. You can buy the raw drivers for very cheap from Parts Express or from GR Research.
IMO, Logan's really charging a LOT for what there speakers are.
As raw drivers the Neo 8 is rolled off below ~1200Hz and is WAY down at the 450-500Hz these Logans are crossed at.
They could be using the x-over to knock down the upper range flatting things out some, or just runnning the woofers up higher to overlap the Neo panel. Neither's a very refined quality approach IMO.
If you want to talk $2K as a great deal for these Logans, look into the GR Research Alphas. The kit is $1800, and is a FAAAAR better speaker in every way.
They use eight of the Neo 8 planars per speaker!, and cross them @ 1275Hz taking advantage of the roll off in the lack of x-over. It's a true line source w/ nine 6" large magnet woofers per speaker playing from 1275Hz down.
Top grade x-over parts -only 6 parts per speaker too. Not much more 'pure' than that.
The cabinet is large but easy to build (about $120 in MDF). And they are 93db effi. and can handle FAR more power than any model Logan.
The x-over blend is seamless which it was 'almost but not quite' in my former Newform Research 645's which I found to be better than Logans of similar price.
The Alphas will surpass the Prodigies though in every way.
