Various Polls. Everyone can post a poll in here. (moderated)
What kind of music do you most listen to?
I am curious as to the age of our little clan here. So if you don't mind, list your age and your main speakers(there is no need to list every speaker you have mains will do just fine). I will start... Age: 41 Mains: Summits... soon to be CLX
more demographic fun. what is your line of work? if you're retired, use your previous line of work, although it would be interested to see how many people can retire if they buy ML equipment :)
Just curious...
Hi all, First post and I'm trying to determine if I should go with the new ethos, or a used pair of spires. I'm doing a dedicated theater room, and not sure if the spires, although they have a larger panel, are as good as the new ethos. Would be my front l/R in a 7.1 system. Best Eric
In other words: What rake angle do you prefer. Feel free to add which model, and how you experience changes in rake.
We're all here for our ML speakers, but some of us must have other components that mean more to us or our system. What is your most treasured component? Is it your MLs or something else?
Which outdated media do you use? It does not have to be exclusive, of course. By the way, “and not any more” in title is about LPs; they are coming back (at least that is what I would call it based on the fact that I can purchase an LP at Fred Meyer store).
Hello to the ML Forum. I've been reading several posts daily and have learned a lot in the short time of being a member. Thanks. I originally was looking at the Purities seeing they were in my price range, then I stumbled across a pair of new Vista's for slightly more. Due to their wider...
Have you had a late-night listening session. Specifically, a listening session that starts early in the evening and just continues into the wee hours of the morning because your system just keeps sounding better and better. There are many explainations for this - * The power gets cleaner *...
Not that we ever argued over it, but before I got married, I told my wife to be that she can do anything she wants to any room but one room. That would be the living room, where the stereo system would be. I was just wondering what your WAF/HAF swith your significant other? I understand that...
What 80's model Martin Logan speaker(s) do you have? If you own several models then just choose your favourite. :)
Which audio format do you see yourself using the most for the next 5 years?
Which audio format would you most like to see new material come out in in the future?
For those of you who've bought, or plan on buying, the new Remastered Beatles Box Sets... are you getting the Mono or Stereo version, or both?
Okay - it's a bit embarrasing, but you can remain anonymous! I get the impression a lot of ML owners (definitely not so much those here!) own ML because they have lots of money and can afford cool things. Or they like the look. So - are you an audiophile or do you own ML for a reason other...
OK - what are you driving your Logans with? Forget subwoofers or your active bass units. What is supplying the juice to your panels? If you are using more than one option, just vote for your fave. If your're using a hybrid, vote solid state - I forgot the option, but chances are the bit...
Ok.......you knew this had to happen.....the two most 'hit upon' topics as of late......."M/L production moving" and "Jim Powers retiring" have created quite a stir, as they probably should have. So with that being said here's a little poll to ponder......
The poll is: Where do you traditionally leave your volume knob on your standard Descent if you own one, or two, or more. This is the actual knob on the sub. If you operate the sub controls through a processor, that is fine, just post where you leave the knob on the sub itself. Please do not answer...
Just curious...:) For the poll, if you don't drink wine, estimate an equivalent for your preferred tipple. I have left the poll as anonymous so telling the truth, at least in the poll, is easy! Personally, I rarely listen seriously to my system without drinking. The two just go hand in...
Since the introduction of HDMI it has been report that HDMI is a must, that if your processor doesn't have it, it's obsolete. I always tough that obsolescence was when one was no more able to use a product or that upgraditis had invented this word to give us an excuse to upgrade our component. ...
