I've got a pair of speaker cables that I made a few years ago that are VERY low impedance, but relatively high inductance. They are braided, Kimber-style, and use 24 conductors of 24AWG OFC teflon-insulated wire, giving 12 conductors for + and - .

They sound better than "zip cord" but not as good as the Monster M-1 "garden hose" that I have. I've thought that maybe it's their high capacitance that is making them sound a little muffled in the mids, and been reading up on Zoebel networks. I've done the math to figure out about what values to use for the resisters and caps, but I was wondering if anyone else had already done this?

Also, from what I hear, some of the uber-high-end cables like MIT and Transparent are actually hiding Zoebel networks in their hermetically sealed little boxes...

So does anyone know what I'm talking about, and has anyone tried Zoebel networks on ML speakers?

Thanks,

--Richard C.
