I've been building a new plinth for the Linn for a number of months, actually on and off for over a year. After building things for the house/wife, I finally got around to completing it. It is Lacewood with all of the support pieces made of hard maple. It is oversized compared to a standard LP12 plinth.

looks very good, did you do this for the looks or was there another reason too?
Creative use of tube dampers btw..
 
Logical use of tube dampers. That IS an arm tube :)

Indeed it is. I got the idea from the Herbie's website. I must say that the rings are an across the board improvement allowing the arm to retrieve much more fine detail than without.
