I was looking on line tonight for some of the classic Jazz albums on LPs. Every place that I looked seem to list them for 24.00 dollars and up.

I had bought a Johnny Hartman and Coltrane album a few years ago new for 9.00. I think it may be a 180 Gram record.

I have not purchased an LP new in 4 years so possibly the price has gone up on them.

Where is the cheapest place online to find records? I am looking for Jazz records and Classic Rock records mostly.

Thanks for the links. I am going to check them out.

Now that I have a turntable setup, I am heading to a couple of goodwill type stores tomorrow to dig through the records. I have had some good luck before in second hand stores, often finding some nice records.

You know my 10% commission off that deal paid for my new 'Glider' S.....

I just wanted add another LP place that I found. Some of their prices are the same but others are half the price.

I have not used the company but may just order two records and see how well they are packaged.

Justin,

The other posters mentioned excellent sites.

You may also want to check out Soundstage direct.

http://www.soundstagedirect.com/

They are located in PA and have an excellent selection, great customer service, and some very good prices on their close out/minor damage section of the site.

Also offer an additional 10 percent discount if you are an audioasylum vinyl member.

Have dealt with them for a few years and it is always been smooth and trouble free transactions.

Thanks for the new link.

I found a couple of more places to buy online.

This company could have a bigger selection but has some excellent prices on some of their LPs.

Another company with good prices. Some LPs are the same as other places but others you will find for half price.
